Product Description This is the ultimate knife to own, designed for utility, and built for survival. The black stainless steel blade is razor sharp and dual-edged, one blade for cutting and the other a toothed blade for sawing. This knife is sold and has a great heavy weight to it. The rubberized handle provides superior grip, and houses matches, striking paper, fishing line, a sinker, and a fishing hook. The pommel screws out to reveal a compass. This excellent knife comes with a reinforced nylon sheath with a belt loop and button clasp to secure the knife with. The sheath will hold up well in bad weather, and houses a sharpening stone. This is the knife to own for outdoors enthusiasts. If you are ever in the wilderness this is a must-have! If you don't love this knife return it for a complete refund including shipping!

curvival September 11, 2008 appears well made although it has not had a heavy duty field test. Fairly heavy construction. Just what it should be
Mediocre August 3, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The compass is unreliable, but works. The sheath doesn't do a very good job of keeping the knife off of your leg. For the price, its about what I expected - mediocre quality.
Huge knife, Should serve me well June 15, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'll be taking it hiking in the sierra nevada mountains. The saw end works great and made short work of a good size 3" branch. I feel like I could fight a bear with this thing. Cool stuff in the handle. Great price, I like it alot
Good knife, bad bolt May 19, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have waited 1.5 weeks for this. After receiving it I used it for two minutes. I was walking around in the backyard, swinging my arm with the knife and the blade came flying off. Luckily no one was in front of me or a 9 inch piece of stainless steel would be in their behind. I think the bolt connecting the blade with the handle is too short. Otherwise it is awesome but one little bolt can ruin the whole thing.
Uh, just to note... April 22, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you want to try to use flint and steel to create a fire, only carbon (not stainless) steel with work. It needs carbon to create the CO2 necessary for catalyzing the fire. If it is carbon, it requires care so as not to rust. This knife is also kinda big for most processes unless you're outright killing squirrels and such. On the other hand, it's something like the Punisher would use, making it immediately cool.
